NUKU Outreach Coalition

Volunteer

Take action, build connections, and help support real projects that strengthen our communities and protect our environment.

Volunteer With NUKU

Help make practical stewardship education visible in the community.

NUKU volunteers help support public events, partner demonstrations, site-based education, outreach, documentation, and community stewardship programming.

Whether you want to help at events, document the work, prepare a site, welcome guests, connect local partners, or support public education, there is a useful role for you here.

Who this is for

This volunteer network is for people who want to contribute time, skills, ideas, connections, media support, field help, or event assistance. You do not need to be an expert to get involved. The first step is helping us understand where your time and interests fit.

Ways to Contribute

Volunteers help turn public programming into a stronger community experience.

Event Support

Help with setup, check-in, hospitality, guest information, parking support, speaker support, vendor support, cleanup, and day-of coordination.

Outreach

Share events, post flyers, connect local networks, invite community members, and help more people learn about NUKU programming.

Documentation

Support photography, video, interviews, project updates, before-and-after progress, social content, and public-facing learning resources.

Site Support

Assist with preparation, cleanup, workdays, demonstration setup, and appropriate hands-on support connected to site-based education.

Partner Support

Help speakers, educators, vendors, sponsors, agencies, nonprofits, and community organizations have a stronger experience at NUKU events.

Ideas and Skills

Bring practical knowledge, professional experience, tools, introductions, or new perspectives that can strengthen future programming.

Proven Through Public Programming

Our pilot Expo showed what volunteers help make possible.

The Land & Infrastructure Expo demonstrated the value of organized events, strong partner support, public education, and a welcoming experience for the community.

As NUKU grows, volunteers will continue to play an important role in events, demonstrations, outreach, site-based programming, and future stewardship education.
